At GaugWise, we design and supply precision industrial pressure instrumentation, including differential pressure gauges, shock-resistant oil-filled gauges, capsule micro-pressure gauges, digital LCD gauges, and pressure transmitters. We are committed to delivering reliable, factory-tested instruments built to rigorous engineering standards.
1. 12-Month Limited Warranty
All GaugWise pressure measurement instruments and transmitters come with a 12-month limited warranty starting from the date of delivery.
- Coverage: This warranty covers defects in materials, components, and factory workmanship under standard and specified operating conditions.
- Remedy: In the event of a verified defect within the warranty period, GaugWise will, at its option, repair the product, provide a replacement unit or component, or issue a credit.
2. Factory Inspection & Accuracy Calibration
- 100% Pre-Shipment Testing: Every gauge and transmitter undergoes rigorous hydrostatic/pneumatic pressure testing and zero/span calibration prior to packing.
- Accuracy Compliance: Instruments are certified to perform within their specified accuracy classes (e.g., ±1.0%, ±1.6%, or ±2.5% F.S.).
- Calibration Certificates: Traceable factory calibration certificates (with individual test data sheets) are available upon request for an additional fee. Please specify this requirement when placing your order or contact us prior to dispatch.
3. Custom Specifications & Lead Times
- Made-to-Order & Custom Ranges: Custom scale ranges (MPa, kPa, bar, psi), special process connection threads (NPT, BSP/G, Metric), and OEM dial branding are produced to order based on agreed purchase orders.
- Production Lead Time: Standard made-to-order production requires approximately 10 business days prior to international carrier handover. Delivery transit times vary by destination country and shipping tier.
4. Returns & Order Cancellations
- Standard Stock Units: Standard, non-customized products may be returned within 30 days of receipt, provided they are unused, uninstalled, in their original protective packaging, and in resalable condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser unless the return is due to our error.
- Custom & OEM Orders: Custom-configured, made-to-order, or privately labeled instruments are non-refundable and non-returnable once production has commenced, except in the case of verified manufacturing defects.
- EU Right of Withdrawal: For customers in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from eligible purchases within 14 days without giving any reason, starting from the delivery of the last item in your order. You may also request to cancel unfulfilled items before shipment. You can submit an electronic return or cancellation request directly through your customer account at Orders or by emailing info@gaugwise.com. Made-to-order or custom-configured instruments are exempt once production has commenced.
- Return Authorization: All returns require prior written authorization. Contact info@gaugwise.com with your order number before returning any items.
5. Shipping Damage & Shortages
Industrial instruments require careful handling during international transit.
- Reporting Window: In the event of visible package damage, dial crack, oil leakage (for liquid-filled gauges), or shortages, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Required Documentation: Please provide your order/tracking number and clear photographs showing the shipping label, exterior packaging, and the damaged product.
- Expedited Resolution: Verified transit-damaged units will be replaced via expedited courier shipping at no additional cost.
6. Warranty Exclusions
This limited warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from improper installation, wiring, or incorrect process thread mounting.
- Exposure to media incompatible with specified wetted parts (e.g., corrosive fluids on brass internals).
- Overpressure beyond maximum rated working pressure, thermal shock, severe water hammer, or excessive vibration exceeding rated limits.
- Unauthorized disassembly, repair, recalibration, or modifications.
- Normal wear, cosmetic scratches, and routine maintenance items.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GaugWise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of production, process downtime, loss of profits, or third-party claims) arising from the use of or inability to use our products. GaugWise’s total liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim. Your statutory consumer or commercial rights under applicable local laws remain unaffected.
